Reviewing The Words Without Having Seen It
The Words looks like the biggest movie coming out today, so I’ll write about it. (They really don’t like putting any movies with a budget up against the NFL’s opening […]
Once in a while, a comedy makes you laugh so hard that your first reaction after finishing it is to grab your friends, sit them down, and force them to watch along for multiple viewings like it’s a propaganda film. Office Space is one of those movies. Idiocracy, too. The latest such movie I’ve seen? Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator. I know. A funny Jew? Get out of here!
So listen to the episode of my radio show linked right below, hear what my “I have to show this to my friends” comedies are, and let me know what yours are in the comments section. It’s like getting to watch the movie with you, except I don’t have to walk into your dingy, cat-urine-soaked household. (Also, this episode marks the return of co-host Cate. Always nice to have her around undermining my self-esteem.)

I don’t think I appreciated enough the Dictator soundbites you chose for this show because I was so goddamn nervous at the time not to be a terrible show guest. They’ve been reverberating in my ears for days now. I don’t think I’ll ever pronounce the soft “g” in vagina again.

I didn’t realize you had any self-esteem to begin with.
