Papa’s Basement 2-20-12-Whitney Houston is Dead (And Overrated)
I don’t like to speak ill of the dead (unless it will get me web traffic), but the fuss over the death of Whitney Houston has left me puzzled. Yes, […]
I’ve made no secret of my hatred of Season 2 of The Walking Dead (read about that here and here). Thankfully, I’ve heard good things about last night’s episode, “Triggerfinger.” You know, things like “Events took place” and “Not every moment of the episode was devoted to mediocre actors jawing back and forth on a porch swing like this was a Country Time Lemonade commercial.”
Drama arises from tension and action. There must be situations in need of a clearly defined resolution with a beginning, middle and end to everything that takes place. Dead has lost all sense of that. It’s the television equivalent of a woman who believes oral sex consists of placing a penis inside her mouth then lying perfectly still while her saliva soughs off the layers of your penis.
A review of the episode will be forthcoming tomorrow.

I’m not sure what was so great about it. It was only slightly better than the previous episode. Although, it does expose Lori as the C U Next Tuesday that she really is.
