Hellbound: Hellraiser II Stinks — Papa’s Basement 469
For the entirety of October, the Papa’s Basement crew thought it would be fun to watch bad horror movies, then dissect just why they’re awful on-air. First up is Hellbound: […]
Our new Halloween Month continues as we spend the last 20 minutes of the episode reviewing (well, panning) Curse Of Chucky, not only one of the worst horror movies I’ve seen, but up there in terms of worst movies, period. If you want to waste 90 minutes of your life and watch it on Netflix before listening to play along, that’s great. But it isn’t necessary to drink in just how much makes the movie a gigantic piece of shit. But don’t worry, the episode isn’t all killer dolls 25 years past their prime: We also (incorrectly) predict that Lamar Odom will be dead by the time this podcast is released, why his fall from grace is especially tragic and, most solipsistically, why it bummed me out on a personal level. And, to cap it off, I tell a tale about taking a loved one in for a colonoscopy that I hope gets anyone else who has to do it to realize that, far from a chore, it might be the most fun they have all year. It’s a good episode. Share it please.
