The Walking Dead Needs to Die

99 times out of 100, a celebrity dies and I could care less. So why do I find the death of Patrice O’Neal, the most brilliant comedic mind of our generation, so damn depressing? Listen to find out and mourn the passing of a comedy god. (What a way to sell a podcast that people listen to for laughs. Christ I’m horrible.)

Great show. Patrice and Greg Giraldo were easily two of my favs and now they are both gone. When an amazing comedian dies for reasons I cannot explain it resonates with me ten times more than when an athlete or actor dies. Also, Goodfellas is in my top three and I can send you pictures of my beautiful non-Italian friends that feel the same way. Ray Liotta screaming “I got enough to worry about getting whacked on the street! I gotta come home for this!” is my ringtone. Great show! Love me some Papa’s basement!
