Dammit, FX…Now I Have to Watch Wilfred, Too?
A few months ago, while watching FX‘s Archer, I saw a preview for Wilfred, the network’s new show about a depressed man who, along with the viewer, sees his neighbor’s […]
My co-host Will rarely (if ever) disappoints either behind the mic or in real life as a brother, but at the start of today’s episode, where we both reveal how in love with Casey Anthony we are, well, it was just one of those moments. We also get into Cate’s pole dancing class graduation and why Will, in spite of loving strippers, won’t be attending. (Hint: He wagers most of the women won’t be attractive and treats the subject with the usual Papageorgiou sensitivity.)

I listened live since I was up late doing some brain-dead quest in an online game– you know, what ugly women do on Saturday nights. I thought you guys were funny, but I’m not really a great judge. After all, watching you fidget for 20 minutes in the setup entertained me a lot more than I thought it would. ‘Course after listening to 5 minutes of “On the Commons” before your show– suddenly a guy checking his twitter on his laptop becomes a lot more interesting.
I might have picked the wrong ep to tune in to, since it was pretty testosterone laden– but I found it sort of charming that between you and Will, you were -almost- the kind sensitive one. I liked your disclaimer… I’m paraphrasing, but it was something like; “just to be clear, we don’t advocate beating women– but you know– this one was nuts.” Aw. You softie.
I might need to listen to one with Cate next time just to see if she can reign you guys in at all. And man– you and Will don’t sound alike at all.
