Please Don’t Let Terminator Genisys Suck
My normal movie article schtick is to review a film without having seen it, usually taking a crap on the production from a safe distance. But not today. Today, I […]
There are weak movie sequels. For example, while I amply enjoy Predator 2, it in no way achieves the operatic heights of its predecessor (I know that comes off sounding sarcastic. I assure you, I mean every word). And then there are sequels so bad that they diminsh the good films in the series that came before them. For example, sticking with 80s action film series, RoboCop 3 is so bad that I almost pulled an Oedipus Rex and blinded myself just to put an end to it (I promptly came to my senses and flipped the channel instead). It is the members of this second camp co-hostess Eva and I celebrate on today’s episode.
On top of the horrid movie sequel talk, we also wade right into the Confederate flag debate. Because, hey, what’s one more pair of assholes blabbing about their thoughts? Despite the dismissive tone, I assure you, we offer a few insights that you probably haven’t thought of yet. Or you have. In which case, well, I hope you liked the movie part a lot. And last but not least, we mourn my imminent death as I prepare to spend the day at Virginia’s finest amusement park, Kings Dominion. Yes, I’m one of those massive pussies that recoils in horror at the mere thought of a roller coaster and my girlfriend is a person that actually has a shred of courage and thus loves them. Should be a great time. And by great time, I mean I’ll cower in fear and burst into tears before boarding our first ride and she’ll never want to touch my penis again.
