Last night’s episode of Mad Men (click here to watch it via Amazon) featured yet another scene that will have everyone talking today. No, I’m not talking Christina Hendricks in her black bra, the strap of which looked like it was under more strain than that wire that catches jets when they land on an aircraft carrier. I’m referencing the sequence in which Don Draper is stalked and seduced by a former flame who won’t take no for an answer, then pulls a Patrick Bateman by choking her to death and kicking her corpse under the bed.
The incident was revealed to be a fevered dream, so Don won’t be spending the rest of the season hiding out from the fuzz in his kids’ tree fort. But I still loved hearing from every woman watching the episode something along the lines of, “OMG, DON CHEATED!!!”
Women, Don didn’t cheat. Even if that sequence hadn’t been make-believe, it still wouldn’t have counted as cheating. If a guy firmly tells an attractive woman “no,” and she continues to come at him, that’s just a freebie. You should actually applaud your man for having shown that much restraint to begin with. A chick’s hand on a man’s cock implodes the circuitry of his brain, no matter how intelligent he is. Had Marilyn Monroe grabbed Einstein’s hog while he was working, we’d have E = IWannaTitfuckYouSoHardThatMyBallsCrackYourRibs.
