I worry the titles of Papa’s Basement episodes can be misleading, and people read them and expect an hour of audio about the same topic. The shows never focus too much on any one thing. Sometimes (like in this case), I’m not even sure they include the subject mentioned in the title. There were a bunch of shows recorded over the weekend, and I know that, in one of them, my co-host Will mentioned he had seen the new Jenny McCarthy Playboy pictures (link quite NSFW) and that she looked great in them. He then proceeded to pass around his iPhone with the a few of the shots on display. We all had a peek and confessed that, yes, we’d still very much enjoy sexual intercourse with Miss McCarthy, and then we carried on with our day. See? Simple as that. The rest of the show contains covers all sorts of other topics, from the recent East Coast power outages to recent sports news. It isn’t an hour-long ode to the power of a 40-year-old woman with five-year-old implants.
