I’m not a happy man, but there’s one thing I look forward to each and every year to cheer me up because it combines my love of eating bad food with my love of overeating: The massive annual barbecue hosted by my friend John Calahan. It was supposed to be held hours after this show was recorded and had been the only thing I’d looked forward to for weeks, if not months. Sadly (nay, tragically), the event was postponed hours before I went on air. I was devastated. You’ve never heard a man this beaten.
