Last month I decided to stop trolling the Craigslist posts in the M4M section and start looking for more co-hosts to add to the show’s mix by posting a wanted ad. In a testament to just how sad the industry I’m trying to eke out a living in is, I received hundreds of replies to a post that starts “This gig pays zilch. Nada. If you want money, get out of radio.” Out of all the folks that contacted me, Rodriguez seemed to fit the bill best, so this week we brought her to the station and gave her a shot. Tell us what you think. And by that I mean “If you don’t leave countless comments going on about how awesome this episode was, I’ll reenact the wood chipper scene from Fargo using her as Buscemi.” And no one wants that blood on their hands, right?

Great show yesterday man. I thought Rodriguez was a nice addition, and I guess it doesn’t hurt that she’s easy on the eyes although that only benefits you in studio people.

New lady gets the thumbs up.
Her voice doesn’t make me regurgitate and my eardrums come close to bursting like the other one… and she’s capable of actually saying funny things.
