Opie & Anthony Discuss Infidelity

admin May 23, 2012

I don’t know if it’s an American thing, but the average person’s thoughts regarding monogamy and infidelity seem incredibly inaccurate. Like, for example, the thought that being faithful is both the norm and a sign of a healthy relationship. It’s an insane belief, because both men and women cheat nonstop (men do because sticking your cock into new things is fun, women do because they crave attention, which wanes after the honeymoon period is over).

The problem is that there’s no easy solution. Stay faithful, and you’re going to go nuts because of the options you’re missing out on. Stay single, and your life is a never ending chain of awkward first-date sex and pining after the people you best got along with. And God forbid you try swinging. (We’ve all seen Real Sex. We know what those people look like.)

I’m mentioning all that because, in this modern sea of clit-boner-inducing fantasy like Twilight and The Notebook, it makes me appreciate whenever there’s a mature discussion of relationships and screwing around. And when I heard the above segment on the Opie & Anthony Show (the segment also features Jim Norton and Amy Schumer), I was floored by how hilarious, honest and insightful it was. Please click and listen. You’ll enjoy it.
